CWAT Project aims to provide transformative, holistic quality care for Children aged 0-5 years and improve the cognitive, socio- emotional and life skills of children with disabilities through enabling childcare ecosystem, strengthen community level support systems by training community rehabilitation workers through CBR Model.
The 18month Project addresses the need for caregivers’ development, adapting and making accessible community environment, provision of community-based rehabilitation and care among others.
CWAT project runs in three counties, Kisumu, Kakamega and Siaya Counties, spearheaded by: Mumias EARC, Franciscan Sisters of St. Anna, the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph and Nyabondo Centre for persons with Disabilities.”
