CDSK donates ICT gadgets to St. Elizabethan Sisters Naromoru
Cheshire Disability Service Kenya CEO Cecilia Mutava handed over Information Communication and Technology gadgets to St Elizabethan Sisters Naromoru in February.
The donations were courtesy of MIVA/Liliane Fonds through her Strategic Partner Organization CDSK which supports the provision of reliable means of transportation and communication to grassroots organisations.
While gracing the ceremony at Naromoru Small Home for the Disabled Children, Ms. Cecilia noted that the laptops, desktops, and Enterprise Resource Planning software bestowed will enhance efficiency in serving children with disabilities at the home.
The CEO also noted that a consultant has been hired to support the institution in using the ERP software that integrates processes including User management, Stock Management, Accounts Management, Assets Management, Customer Management, Human Resources Management, and hospital management within a single system.
‘We really appreciate the donations of these devices to our institution. The technical support by the consultant on the use of ERP software will go along away in ensuring efficiency in resource planning and supporting the institution in data and information management,’’ said a happy Sister Agnes Wamuyu who was in attendance.
Also present were members of the advisory committee led by Stephen Gichuki, children with disabilities, and staff of the home.
