Health Care and Rehabilitation

Overview and Priority Issues: The main objective of this domain will be to enable children and youth with disabilities realize their highest attainable standard of health. Attention will be paid to addressing challenges related to health promotion and disability awareness/ prevention; rehabilitation and medical care; access to assistive devices; as well as health sector financing, policy implementation, and service delivery capacity.

Overall objective: Increased number of supported children and youth with disabilities who attain milestones/ functionality targets set out in their individual rehabilitation plans.
