Further, CDSK continues to invest in influencing to assure a conducive operating context for PWDs through elimination of policy, legal, physical, institutional, attitudinal and cultural barriers. CDSK for example contributed to the National Curriculum Review, as well as the Special Needs Education and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) Policies. Further, between 2012 and 2013, CDSK with funding from European Union successfully equipped 120 CYWDs to understand the United Nations Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPDs), besides successfully lobbying for accessibility in buildings and inclusive disability employment
